The Invisible Man
How come that human "civilization" has managed to create its own " invisibility cloak", until you no longer see those left to their own devices, because they become victims of a system where the "losers" are ignored and left to themselves in the margin of indifference?
This is the purpose of this play in two acts, where the voice of a single character, "The Invisible Man" Jack, summons those who have become "blind" and impervious to any emotion.
In today's world where competition is fierce everywhere, both at school and in the workplace, it is imperative for everyone to be "perfect", to "improve", so as not to be obsolete.
This topic has often been dealt with in the world of science- fiction. And while "human" raved about the robots, Man has come to forget his neighbour. This is the irony that the character throws at passers-by.By hoping that one of them will have heard what he wants to tell to the whole world !
The dehumanization of man is only a matter of time. The time it will take the Earth to become a jungle where civilization will die! This is the "life" of Jack, unfolded before us ! Like an allegory,a parable. The wall near which he lives, isn’t it a Facebook wall? But where are the “friends”? Who is “chatting”? Is it real on Facebook? Or reality is just virtual, everywhere? Are the Jacks of the city living in an hologram?
Are we ready to admit that we are all becoming blind and deaf? And that we no more hear the voices of any Jack lying on the pavement of any city?
